The movie "My Fault" (2014) is only the fourth feature film directed by Fred Kavaye. But the creator of the film was able to easily cope with the simple plot and the many tensions of the script. The crime drama is dynamic, intense, full of chases and shootouts. The film "My Fault", like all French cinema, is radically different from Hollywood crafts. It has been living its own life for a long time and opens up the world and people's feelings to the viewer from an unexpected side.
Once upon a time, two partners worked in the police - Simon and Frank. Their car was involved in an accident that killed three people. Simon went to prison for 2 years and will never be able to work at his former place. Frank was able to get out. After his release, Simon settles into a small apartment and leads a life of recluse with a sense of guilt. But his son Theo witnesses a brutal murder and now his life is in danger. Simon is forced to take up arms, but he cannot cope with the situation without his former partner. The main characters played by Gilles Lillouche and Vincent Lyndon are very charismatic. They unconditionally attract the feelings of the audience to their side. Moreover, they have the desire and actions that are designed to restore justice. It wouldn't surprise anyone if in a couple of years, Kawaiye was invited to Hollywood, and the Americans bought out the plot of the film for a remake.
